The Cloven are a mysterious enemy race featured in Insomniac Game's series Resistance. They have not formally been introduced into the game and all information about them was received from various Intel reports or by Professor Malikov. Professor Malikov did admit that he played a major role in the creation and testing upon the Cloven, which also consequently spawned Daedalus through his tests.

The Cloven was an unlockable skin that could be used in competitive modes after beating the game in superhuman difficulty.

In Resistance: Retribution they will be a key opponent.
