Auger

The Auger heavy-penetrating rifle fires rounds of energy through solid matter, such as walls, and the strength of the shot continues to increase with each surfaces it passes through until it hits organic matter at which point it causes severe burns.
The only major drawback with this weapon is the small ammunition cap which can be disregarded due to the fact that shots can exploit enemies behind cover.
Resistance 2 features an Auger Mark II.
